Sunday Evening, January 13th, 2019 - We Do Not Labor in Vain - Pastor Jared Shumate

Tonight we watched a special year-in-review video that recapped 2018 for our church. Last year saw a lot of change at our church. Sometimes we were left confused at God's Plan. But we came together as a church family, continued to serve Him and trust in His Plan, and in the end God sent us the man He had planned to be our Pastor.

Nothing we did in 2018 was done in vain. We did not labor in vain. We did not wait in vain. None of it was in vain because God was in the middle of it! He knew all that was happening and knew what He had planned for us.

When God is in the middle of it, we do NOTHING in vain!

Psalm 127:1-2

1Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. 2It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. (KJV)
