Funneling Your Prayer Through God's Kingdom Coming (Matthew 6:9-13)

Bro. Mike Meade, April 8, 2018
Part of the Prayer 101: Learning to Talk to God series, preached at a Sunday Evening service

Have you ever tried pouring a liquid into a smaller container without a funnel? Maybe you've tried adding oil to an engine without one. More often than not, when we do that, we make a big mess of things. The funnel has a specific purpose. It is used to make sure that everything goes where it's supposed to go.

Our prayers should be funneled too. But what does that mean?

Tonight Bro. Mike continues our series on Prayer 101 by shows us how to Funnel Your Prayer Through God's Kingdom Come.

Matthew 6:9-13

9After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11Give us this day our daily bread. 12And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. (KJV)
