Closing Our Prayer: Lord. it All Belongs to You (Matthew 6:9-13)

Bro. Mike Meade, May 13, 2018
Part of the Prayer 101: Learning to Talk to God series, preached at a Sunday Evening service

Tonight we closed out our seven part series on prayer titled Prayer 101: Learning to talk to God. In this evening's message, Closing our Prayer: Lord, It All Belongs to You, we see how Jesus closed out his model prayer by declaring that everything belongs to God.

The Kingdom, and everyone in it, belongs to God. The Power, and the ability to answer our prayers, belongs to Him. The Glory, all of it, belongs to God.

We pray this series has been a blessing to you and showed you a Biblical model prayer. Use it to draw closer to God in your communication to Him.

Matthew 6:9-13

9After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11Give us this day our daily bread. 12And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. (KJV)
